Deals: 1 kinetic damage to the primary target and 2 kinetic damage to up to 7 standard or weak enemies within 5 meters of the primary target. If the primary target is a standard or weak enemy, it is knocked to the ground. I’m not going to get into which specific versions of enhancements and such to use. The tiny stat variations from using something like an R-3 versus an R-4 aren’t worth the trouble and a single extra random crit, lag spike, or mid-fight sneeze will completely overshadow any difference in DPS you could possibly observe from an extra few points of power.

I'm doing a Smuggler character for the LS/DS event and I'm trying to plan which Advanced Class to pick. I'm aiming mostly at PvE obviously, getting to 65, and doing Flashpoints. I know there's a bit of PvP in the requirements, but I'm not really planning to focus on that; never was much of a PvPer on any MMO I've played. So, basically since I have no experience really with either Smuggler or Agent past 25 or so (I paused leveling my Smuggler so I could reroll for the event), which do you recommend for easy leveling and not too crazy rotation? I don't mind a learning curve, but I don't really want to do something insanely complicated since it'll be my first one getting to 65 (hopefully!). | |
